My name is KUBIBA BONNY, 41 years old, living in Uganda, capital city Kampala, in Kawempe Division. I have 4 kids and 3 nephews that are residing with me and my husband. My husband was stopped from work three years ago and he developed diabetes and blood pressure. I have a small scale business dealing in selling tomatoes, onions, cabbage, carrots and other small items.

My health has not been that good since my husband stopped work. My children are no longer going to school due to low income. My daily work has been affected recently with the outbreak of Corona Virus since the nation announcements by our president stopping most of the businesses and transport means, this has heavily affected my support for my family. I depend on the daily income for food and home necessities. I am of less hope where my help will come from when it comes to food and other supplies like medication.

We have been advised to wear masks and gloves, however we don’t have these items and we are unable to purchase them because of lack of money. Any help finding these items is greatly appreciated.
